Chiropractic Insurance Information:
Our Chiropractors are in network with the following insurance companies:
- Premera BCBS (PPO Plans)
- Regence (PPO Plans)
- Aetna (PPO Plans)
- Lifewise (PPO Plans)
- Anthem (PPO Plans)
- Kaiser Permanente (Core, HMO, PPO)
- United (PPO Plans)
- PIP (Personal Injury Protection Insurance)
Our Chiropractors are not in network with Community Health Plan of WA, however they are willing to bill for you on your behalf!
We are NOT able to bill to any Medicare / Medicaid / Apple Health / Molina plans, even if they are through the companies listed above.
We are not able to bill any of the following plans:
- Apple Health
- Medicaid / Medicare / Molina
- Workers Comp / L&I
- Tricare / VA insurance / any Armed Forces Insurer
Our entire clinic is out of network with Cigna. We are not able to check your insurance benefits for you and cannot give you a cost estimate for this insurance carrier. Our estimated amount for the visit is about $20 more than our time of service rates until your deductible is met. Please call your insurance to see what your coverage is for chiropractic spinal adjustments, chiropractic extremity adjustments, and therapeutic exercise or physical therapy performed by a chiropractor. If you have this insurance carrier, please know that you are fully responsible for any amounts not covered and be fully aware that we are out of network.
If you have an insurance plan not listed above, we likely do not take it. Please give the office a call at 206-851-2242 to make sure.
Massage Therapy Insurance Information:
All of the massage therapists at our clinic are out of network providers with all insurance companies. Currently none of our massage therapy providers are in network with any insurance companies. However, some insurance plans have comparable out of network benefits. We bill all massage therapies with our massage therapists as out of network massage with insurance companies. We do this on your behalf or we can give you a superbill to submit.
We bill all massages using PIP (Personal Injury Protection Insurance) and, if available, can opt to be paid after treatment is finished. Please contact our office directly if you’d like to use your PIP or 3rd party for massage.
Even if your insurance company lists us as “in network providers” for massage therapy on their app or directory, that information is outdated and not accurate (since 2022.)
Our massage therapists are not contracted with any insurance company. We bill your insurance as a courtesy to you, regardless of our network status with your insurance. Any time we bill insurance for massage, a valid prescription / referral with diagnosis is required to bill your insurance in the state of Washington.
Some plans have out of network benefits. If you would like to check yours, our tax ID is 47-3068481. The codes we bill are 97140 and 97124. Check to see if you have met your out of network deductible. If you have not met it, there’s a chance that your insurance will not cover your visit. When calling your insurance, make sure you ask: “Do I have to meet my out of network deductible before you start covering my visits?”
The following plans DO NOT have out of network massage benefits:
- Kaiser Core
- Kaiser HMO
- Regence plans starting with UDWW
- Regence Plans starting with ZLF
The following plans we cannot bill for massage therapy:
- Medicare / Medicaid / Apple Health / Molina
- Workers Comp / L&I
- Tricare / VA insurance / any Armed Forces Insurer
